Who can apply for an .am and/or .հայ domain name?

Anyone can apply for an .am and/or .հայ domain name. It also does not matter how much domain names have already been registered by applicant, if any.
In short, if you need to register an .am and/or .հայ domain name, just apply for it!

Is there any technical restriction(s) for chosen domain name?

Yes, there are some restrictions:
- label (a part separated by dots) length of the domain name cannot exceed 63 symbols.
- only Latin characters, digits and the dash are allowed in AM TLD:
a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 -
and only Armenian Unicode characters (with exception of 'և'), Latin digits and the dash in ՀԱՅ TLD:
ա բ գ դ ե զ է ը թ ժ ի լ խ ծ կ հ ձ ղ ճ մ յ ն շ ո չ պ ջ ռ ս վ տ ր ց ւ փ ք օ ֆ 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 -
- a domain name cannot start with dash or contain two sequential dashes.

Do you register all domain names applied for?

No.
Correctness of each application is checked - all fields should contain meaningful and correct values. Country names under .am and Armenian locality names under .հայ are currently subject of additional checks.

How long does it take to register an .am and/or .հայ domain name?

The decision on an application will be made within three business days after receipt, then the registrar will be notified of the decision by e-mail and asked to notify the registrant correspondingly.

What if I can not pay at due time?

If you do not pay renewal fees before the expiry date of your domain name its delegation will be suspended. Then you will have an additional thirty (30) calendar days to submit the payment. If you still do not submit the required payment your domain name will be removed, but new registration of the same domain name will be disallowed for an additional fifteen (15) calendar days, giving you the last chance to restore the name. In case the payment is not received within the mentioned days, the due domain name will become available for a new registration.

I need to remove my domain name, what to do?

You need to send us a letter of authorization.
